Technological lines consisting of reliable machines are the basis for the production of aerosols. Proven devices made with the highest precision not only increase the efficiency of the entire production, but also reduce the number of operators to the necessary minimum. That is the purpose Solmatic when creating the offer - to build machines thanks to which the production processes in our clients' factories run faster, more efficiently and more effectively.

Jiggers are one of the devices that make up the aerosol production line. These devices are one of the last in the basic production cycle and one of the first in the packaging and final product preparation cycle. Their role is to automate the work performed by employees - putting on heads, caps or caps on aerosol cans. Automating these tedious activities not only relieves employees who can focus on other elements of the process, but also ensures its repeatability, which translates into greater efficiency, productivity, and, consequently, generates lower costs and increases profits.

Jigsaw offer Solmatic

Although automation is the basis of many enterprises, some plants still carry out manual embedding, involving their employees in this activity. Why is this happening? Many entrepreneurs do not decide to buy a suitable machine due to the high costs of format sets for embedded elements and frequent and time-consuming changeovers, which are required by the multitude of sizes and shapes of heads and caps.

We design our jigsaws in such a way that each format set is as universal as possible and can handle as many elements of various shapes as possible. For many years, one of our main criteria in mechanical engineering has been the minimization of set-up times. In the case of jigs, experienced operators are able to carry out this process within 5 minutes! We offer our clients several types of jigs: jig heads, jig caps, and cap jiggers.

OGL-72 spray head embedding machine

OGL-72 is a device that works in an indexing manner with a speed of up to 50 pieces per minute, cooperating with a vibrating sorter of spray heads. The settling machine can be left or right, depending on the side from which the containers enter the device. The device is equipped with a can guiding system and a spray head guiding system consisting of turntables and rings. The head is mounted on a working socket equipped with a single actuator with a tapping block.

An additional sensor system ensures smooth operation of the device, the correct sequence of cans at the entrance and an appropriate stock of heads, and also prevents overfilling of the cans at the exit. The device may also be available in a version for embedding and striking the crosses on cans with polyurethane foam.

OC-74 cap setting machine

The OC-74 is an indexing device with a speed of up to 50 pieces per minute, designed for automatic deposition of caps on previously filled with product and clamped aerosol containers. The cap settler works with a cap sorter and a conveyor between them - it can be right or left, depending on the side from which the containers enter the device. The device is equipped with a can guiding system and a cap guiding system consisting of turntables and rings. The cap is installed on a working socket equipped with a single actuator with a tapping block.

An additional sensor system ensures smooth operation of the device, the correct sequence of cans at the entrance and an appropriate stock of caps, and prevents overfilling of the cans at the exit.

Rotary jig for cap CZE-01

CZE-01 is a device that works continuously with a speed of up to 120 pieces per minute, designed for automatic deposition of caps on previously filled with product and clamped aerosol containers. The cap settler cooperates with the cap sorter and the conveyor between them. Cap settler - can be right or left, depending on the side from which the containers enter the device. The device is equipped with a can and cap guiding system consisting of turntables, rings and a set of 6 or 8 tapping blocks, which fix the caps on the cans.

The cap is installed while the can is moving through the machine, which allows for a much larger number of caps compared to indexing solutions adapted to production lines with a capacity of up to 50 pieces per minute. An additional sensor system ensures smooth operation of the device, the correct order of cans at the entrance and an appropriate stock of caps, and prevents overfilling of the cans at the exit.

OPP-203 pick & place cap setting machine

The pick & place machine is an indexing device operating at a speed of up to 50 pieces per minute, designed and built to the special order of one of our clients in Scandinavia. OPP-203 addresses the problem of irregularly shaped caps. The caps are deformed as a result of packing too quickly after they are removed from the injection molding machine. Such deformed caps can cause jamming of traditional indexing or rotary jigs.

The OPP-203 pick & place settling machine, instead of tapping blocks on actuators, is equipped with a rotating arm with forming grippers that take the caps from the access nest, which they are transported to by a conveyor from the sorter. The gripper then rotates the cap 180 degrees and places it on the spray can. The design of the gripper ensures that even deformed caps are restored to their regular shapes and can be effectively embedded.

Rotary cap jig KAP-202

The KAP-202 is a device that operates continuously at a speed of up to 120 pieces per minute, designed for automatic deposition of caps on previously filled with product and clamped aerosol containers. The device is used in particular in factories that use a special aerosol valve with a thread that requires the use of safety caps, e.g. camping gas plants. The rotary cap jigger works with a vibrating cap sorter - it can be right or left, depending on the side from which the containers enter the device. The device is equipped with a system for guiding cans and caps, consisting of a turntable, ring and arch clamping of the cap.

The cap is seated while the can is moving through the machine, which allows for a much greater number of cap placements compared to indexing solutions adapted to production lines with a capacity of up to 50 pieces per minute. An additional sensor system ensures smooth operation of the device, an appropriate queue of cans at the entrance and an adequate supply of caps, and also prevents overfilling of cans at the exit.
